Mass Notification Systems New Jersey
T&R is very experienced in designing and installing different types of Mass Notification Systems. We have partnered with companies like Sigcom on various Military bases in Virginia integrating Fire Alarms with Voice communications transmitted wirelessly or over fiber optics. One base in particular had T&R install a system allowing over 125 buildings to communicate via wireless as well as installing 100' radio repeater towers. The most common system that we install in NJ and NY are by Evax which typically consist of speakers throughout a facility and remote microphones located in strategic locations for instant notification in case of an emergency. Another system that is very popular in any sort of campus environment is by Code Blue which integrates emergency communication with mass notification. There are new codes that will be in the 2011 NEC Code that will require certain types of facilities to comply with the new codes. Some other ways to accomplish mass notification is with Reverse 911, Electronic Signage, and text messaging.
