Protecting Students While Protecting the Environment

In this day and age, all colleges and universities need to focus on student safety. Berkeley College in Woodland Park, NJ did just that by having T&R install Code Blue emergency phones throughout their campus. In some of the remote areas where power and communications were limited, they opted to install solar powered units with cellular transmission. By doing this they are depending on our natural resources to power these units helping them become a little greener. These units transmit calls to 911 and the 911 call center knows exactly where they are calling from. Additionally, these units call the security department for immediate response. Some of the units trigger preset target points on their camera system in order to have an immediate view of the incident.

T&R is promoting these solar cellular units to various Colleges and Corporate Parks in the Tri State Area. If you know of any companies looking to secure their parking lots please forward this information to them.
