Have you ever lost your key and worried about if someone else found them. Well now you don't have to worry anymore, with todays technology the key can be replace by the electronic key. This means that an encoded access card can be swiped by a card reader to open and lock a door.
Any door or room that can be secured with a traditional lock and key can also be secured by an access to a restricted area based on the time of day and day of week. The individuals' access into the area is automatically recorded by the Host computer. This allows for reports to be generated based on the individual, a group of individuals, the specific location, or the entire facility. The basic access control sub-system consists of individual coded access cards, card readers, door strikes, contact switches, and an access controller. This system can be intergrated in residential and business.
